Waste disposal information
Batteries / accumulators
In general, batteries and accumulators should not be
disposed of as non-recyclable waste, which is why they are marked with a
crossed-out wheelie bin symbol. The following symbols can also be found
on batteries containing hazardous substances. The labels for the most
important heavy metals are: Pb = contains more than 0.004% lead by mass,
Cd = contains more than 0.002% cadmium by mass and Hg = battery
contains more than 0.0005% mercury by mass.
As an end user, you are legally obliged to return used batteries /
accumulators. You can return all old batteries / accumulators in our
current and previous ranges free of charge to all municipal collection
points, mobile hazardous waste collection vehicles or your local store.
The used batteries / accumulators can also be sent by post to the following address:
DREGENO SEIFFEN eG
Oberheidelberger Strasse 10A

Electrical or electronic equipment
The crossed-out rubbish bin symbol indicates that this electrical or
electronic equipment must not be disposed of with your household waste
at the end of its useful life. Free collection points for electronic
equipment are available in your local area, as well as other recycling
collection points if needed. You can obtain the addresses for these
collection points from your city or local government.
If your old electrical or electronic equipment contains personal data,
you are responsible for deleting it yourself before recycling. You can
find out more at http://www.elektrogesetz.de/.
